South Carolinian singer/songwriter Keath Mead began playing music in his teens, buying his first bass guitar after watching the Beatles' A Hard Day's Night movie for the first time. The Columbia native eventually taught himself to play the guitar, piano, and drums as well, playing in various indie bands throughout his college years.
