When the popular Andalusian pop group Los Caños disbanded in 2005, one-third of the trio was offered a solo deal with Sony BMG. Kiko (b. October 15, 1985) had recorded four successful discs with Los Caños, and appreciated the opportunity to make a name for himself as a solo artist. His sister Shara, younger by two years (b.
