King Cannibal, the name South London-based producer Dylan Richards takes for his dubstep-ragga-drum'n'bass-and-techno-dub mashing DJ, first starting getting attention on the dancefloor after the release of the 2008 12" "Arigami Style" b/w "Flower of Flesh and Blood" on Ninja Tune. Radio 1 DJ Mary Anne Hobbs was an early fan, as well as tastemakers like Strictly Kev and Amon Tobin. Richards, however, was no stranger to the London club scene.
