In today's climate of a blues band seemingly on every corner with "the next Stevie Ray Vaughan" being touted every other minute, it's hard to imagine a time when being a white blues singer was considered a novelty. But in those heady times of the early '60s and the folk and blues revival, that's exactly how it was.
