The drifty and breezy electronic indie pop of Sweden's Kuryakin nods to influences ranging from Enoch Light's Free Design to Saint Etienne, and places them in the same musical territory as artists like Miracle Fortress and Frankmusik. Kuryakin are a duo comprised of Petter Gjores and Johan Norberg, who met while attending university in Uppsala, Sweden, in 2002 and began making recordings together one year later.
