Lande Hekt

Lead singer of punk-injected indie rockers Muncie Girls, Lande Hekt's more intimate solo material delivers hooks with softer edges. Following two albums with her band, she made her full-length solo debut with 2021's Going to Hell. Hekt co-founded Muncie Girls in 2010 with guitarist Dean McMullen and drummer Sam De Wolf, at the time all teenaged members of the D.I.Y. punk scene in their hometown of Exeter, U.K. The band's first release came at the end of 2011 in the shape of a three-track self-titled cassette on What We Should Be Doing!
