Biography
San José, Costa Rica-based group Las Robertas build on the foundation of surfy garage rock, bringing in elements of dream pop production, indie rock tunefulness, and psychedelia. The band's sound grew more refined as they went, moving from the raw garage punk of 2010 debut album Cry Out Loud to the heightened production values and more thoughtfully arranged, but no less powerful, songs of 2023's Love Is the Answer.
