Ley Soul

Ley Soul recalls the neo-soul era with jazz inflections and a cosmic inclination that place her in a continuum with the likes of Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, and Kadhja Bonet. The Chicago-based independent singer and writer started releasing singles while in college. She debuted in June 2023 with "Save Your Love," and by the end of the year issued "Intergalactic Janet," a dreamy and floral ballad that greatly boosted her social media following. The following April, she returned with the comparatively hip-hop "Fortune Eyes." ~ Andy Kellman
