Jazz guitarist and composer Liberty Ellman is a bandleader and first-call sideman for a host of musicians, chief among them Henry Threadgill's Zooid, of which he is a founding member. Ellman not only played on the Pulitzer Prize-winning In for a Penny, In for a Pound, he produced and mixed it.
