Russian group Life on Venus mix feelings of joy and melancholy into their deep, engrossing brand of shoegaze. Releases such as 2019's Odes to the Void contain deep waves of shimmering guitar and lyrics about overcoming fear of the unknown. The band was founded in 2015 by students at Moscow State University.
