Biography
Memphis, Tennessee lo-fi folk musician Shawn Cripps formed the Limes in the autumn of 2000 with drummer Nick Ray, bassist Harlan T. Bobo, and guitarist Jack Yarber. After performing in three festivals put on by Goner Records, the band signed to the label in 2010. Rhinestone River was released that August. In 2011, Goner reissued two albums from the Limes' back catalog: 2005's Tarantula! and 2006's Blue Blood. ~ Jason Lymangrover
