After moving through various stage names and stylistic approaches, Christina Schneider took up the Locate S,1 moniker for her ethereal experiments with observational pop and mercurial songwriting. Her early recordings led to a relationship with the Captured Tracks label, which released her 2020 sophomore album, Personalia, as well as its cathartic and genre-hopping 2023 follow up, Wicked Jaw.
