The project of multi-instrumentalist, producer, and singer/songwriter Julie Campbell, LoneLady creates a stark yet emotive blend of post-punk, dance, and funk. Campbell's love of the crumbling ruins and abandoned industrial spaces in her hometown of Manchester, England translated to the wiry, poetic songs of her acclaimed 2010 debut Nerve Up and 2015's funkier, more fleshed-out Hinterland.
