Louis Futon

Philadelphia-based electronic music producer Tyler Minford performs and records under the moniker Louis Futon. Starting out as a duo in 2013, the project amicably became a solo effort a year after the pair issued "Dozing" b/w "Plastic." Early on, Minford -- who was influenced by local Philadelphia DJs while studying at Temple University -- incorporated bright future bass with trap elements, remixing tracks by R&B and hip-hop artists like Anderson .Paak, Kendrick Lamar, THEY., and GoldLink.
