Biography
The German-based guitar trio Maeror Tri was active between 1988 and 1996. Well known in the industrial cassette underground, the group was about to break into the growing experimental electronica scene when it ceased its activities. Its brand of drone music borrowed elements from industrial, gothic, avant-garde minimalism (Tony Conrad, Glenn Branca), and new age meditation to reach a form of transcendentalism. It has released dozens of full-length cassettes and 7" and 10" EPs in very limited, hard to find editions, along with five studio albums that are more widely available. ...
