Marea

One of the more popular rock en español bands of their time, Marea established themselves as a touring act and released a number of increasingly popular albums, culminating with 28.000 Puñaladas (2004), a smash success upon its release. The band was formed in Berriozar, a city in the northern province of Navarre, Spain, by vocalist/poet Kutxi Romero (born Kutxi Romero Lorente in 1975), who had spent five years fronting a series of local bands.
