Mariangela (born Mariangela Argentino, Piacenza, December 4, 1984) is an Italian pop singer. Committed to breaking into show business from an early age (she first appeared on TV when she was four), Mariangela formed a rock band while in high school, then in 2001 recorded a few dance singles under the name Sweet Mary, and eventually became a background singer for the popular TV game shows Sarabanda and Furore.
