Marsimoto

Marsimoto is the alter ego of German rapper Marteria -- a fun project that started when Marteria (who was born Marten Laciny on December 4, 1982 in Rostock, East Germany) experimented with an effect device, creating a high-pitched voice similar to that of American rapper Quasimoto (the alter ego of Madlib). Interestingly, this pothead alter ego was created even before the release of a "real" album: the first Marsimoto album was released in 2006 through Magnum 12 -- one year before Marteria's proper debut album, 2007's Base Ventura.
