Biography
Yet another in a long and illustrious line of Dutch producers and DJs, Mau P (formerly also known as Maurice West) makes gritty, bassy tech-house and EDM tracks. He shot to international stardom in 2022 with "Drugs from Amsterdam," and has continued releasing singles and remixes including 2024's "On Again."
Born Maurits Jan Westveen in 1996 to a family of musicians, he started making techno and house tracks and DJ'ing professionally when he turned 18, inspired by artists such as Calvin Harris, Skrillex, and Deadmau5. Released in August 2022 by Repopulate Records, his debut si...
