Born Maura Boudreau in Syracuse NY, singer/songwriter Maura Kennedy spent her formative years exploring every facet of rock & roll, dabbling in punk, heavy metal, roots rock, folk, and country before joining Nanci Griffith in 1993 as part of her backing band for a two-month world tour.
