A singer and songwriter whose adult alternative music embraces a rich variety of cultural and creative influences, Mia Doi Todd first emerged with the acoustic album The Ewe and the Eye in 1997. She expanded her sound over her next several records, including fifth LP Manzanita (2005), whose guests comprised members of Beachwood Sparks.
