Influenced by songwriters such as Bob Dylan, the Beatles, and Paul Kelly as well as more contemporary artists like Gabrielle Aplin and Florence + the Machine, Australia's Mia Wray brings a strong sense of melody to her earnest, observant adult pop. Following some early EPs and soundtrack contributions, she made her label debut with the pop-forward, self-examining Stay Awake EP in 2023.
