Michael Falch is one of Denmark's biggest stars, first finding stardom as the singer for Malurt, a band he led through the 1980s. After they went on unofficial hiatus in 1994, Falch continued to work as a solo artist, expanding his purview to include acting and writing books. Falch would return to a reunited Malurt and play with Boat Man Love in the late 2000s, but he has continued to appear at the top of Denmark's charts into the 2020s with such albums as Forar/Brystet and Elsker.
