Mioclono

John Talabot and Velmondo produce warm, organic, and occasionally haunting downtempo house as Mioclono. Working together since 2016, the duo released their debut LP, Cluster I, on Talabot's Hivern Discs in 2023. Oriol Riverola (aka John Talabot) and Arnau Obiols (Velmondo) began recording together at Barcelona's Angel Sound Studios in late 2016, along with engineer Miquel Mestres. The pair named their project Mioclono, the Spanish word for myoclonus (involuntary muscle jerks or twitches), as both artists had been diagnosed with epilepsy.
