Pianist Mirian Conti has championed the music of the Americas but has performed a wide variety of music worldwide. She is also an educator who has often been active in the medium of the lecture-recital.
Conti was born in Corrientes in northeast Argentina. She studied piano and general music in Buenos Aires, but she then moved to the U.S., where she earned both bachelor's and master's degrees from the Juilliard School in New York.
