MMOTHS is the recording and performing alias of Jack Colleran, an Irish musician who produces shimmering downtempo electronic pop and ambient techno with airy, often wordless falsetto vocals. Born in Newbridge in 1993, Colleran played keyboard and bass as a child, eventually acquiring a laptop and experimenting with Ableton Live while in high school. The very first track he produced, "Blisters," quickly became a hit on music blogs, and Colleran signed to Los Angeles-based label SQE Music in mid-2011, around the time he graduated high school.
