The Argentinean duo Modular's dreamy, spacy tunes, modeled after synthesizer-centric easy listening acts of the '60s and '70s, welcome comparisons to the Free Design, Stereolab, and the High Llamas. Naming themselves after the Moog Modulator synthesizer, Mariana Badaracco and Pablo Dahy started collaborating on what would become Modular's first recordings in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2000.
