Momo Dieng

Momo Dieng is a Senegalese singer known for his smooth tenor vocals and vibrant, often romantic Afro-pop style. The son of late Orchestra Baobab member Ndiouga Dieng, Momo came into his own with 2017's Lang gui and its 2019 follow-up, Cey li. Born in Dakar to a musical family, Momo's grandmother Ndèye Ngom Bambilor was widely known as a traditional singer and his father Ndiouga Dieng rose to fame in the '70s and '80s as lead singer of the internationally acclaimed Orchestra Baobab.
