Robert Hood's work as Monobox, much like his output under his own name, is stripped down and boldly futuristic, yet warm and full of life. The Detroit-born minimal techno pioneer first began using the alias for a series of singles beginning in the mid-'90s, with debut full-length Molecule appearing in 2003. The project was sporadically revived, and second album Regenerate arrived in 2021.
