Moon Pool And Dead Band

Moon Pool & Dead Band is an experimental techno duo consisting of two veterans of Detroit's indie rock and experimental music scenes, Nate Young (Wolf Eyes) and Dave Shettler (the Sights, Koufax). Their gritty analog synth explorations are directly inspired by the innovations of their city's techno scene, and are surprisingly funky and danceable. The duo formed in early 2010 and began releasing limited cassettes and CD-Rs through Wolf Eyes' AA Records.
