Murlo

Murlo is the musical alias of Chris Pell, a producer and illustrator residing in London but originally from East Midlands. Associated with the U.K. grime scene, his tracks are bright and festive, displaying a heavy influence of soca, dancehall reggae, bassline, and other dancefloor-friendly styles, but also having a slight bit of an introspective, melancholy feel. Murlo first appeared as a remix artist, reworking tracks by Cold Pumas in 2009, Water Borders in 2010, and Slackk in 2011, among others.
