Mute is one of several groups led by innovative New York saxophonist Kevin Sun; it's an Asian-American quartet which showcases the musicians' versatility in a variety of modern jazz settings, with a strong focus on ensemble work. Following their eponymous 2019 debut, they returned with 2024's After You've Gone.
