My Disco

Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, post-punk trio My Disco were formed in 2003 by brothers Liam and Ben Andrews and Rohan Rebeiro. Named for a Big Black song, the band specialized in angular, cerebral indie rock. My Disco made a name for themselves with their busy touring schedules, but found themselves slowed down in 2004 when Liam Andrews was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma. The band continued to play shows, squeezing in gigs and rehearsals in between Andrews' chemotherapy treatments.
