Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, post-punk trio My Disco were formed in 2003 by brothers Liam and Ben Andrews and Rohan Rebeiro. Named for a Big Black song, the band specialized in angular, cerebral indie rock. My Disco made a name for themselves with their busy touring schedules, but found themselves slowed down in 2004 when Liam Andrews was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma.
