Viola da gamba player Myriam Rignol became a fixture of the Baroque historical performance scene in the 2010s. She has performed with a variety of leading ensembles, including Correspondances, Pygmalion, and the Ricercar Consort.
Rignol was born in Perpignan, in far southern France, in 1988. She took to the viola da gamba as a child and was given lessons from age seven by Christian Sala.
