New Fumes

New Fumes is the solo vehicle of Dallas-based musician and visual artist Daniel Huffman, a journeyman experimentalist known for his work in bands like Comet and Ghostcar. A touring member for cosmic choral rocker the Polyphonic Spree, Huffman is also an occasional collaborator with the Flaming Lips. Stepping out from his role as sideman, he debuted the New Fumes project in 2011 with the noisy space pop of Bump & Assassination via Good Records.
