Biography

New York Polyphony is a male vocal quartet that has been praised for a distinctive blend that conveys the impression of a much larger ensemble. The group has a repertory dating back as far as Gregorian chant and has performed and recorded rare and newly discovered medieval and Renaissance pieces, but the commissioning of original pieces has been central to its efforts.
