California trio Night School blend woozy, lo-fi guitar pop with the sweet summer sounds of classic '60s girl groups, garage, and early doo wop. Formed in Oakland in 2013 by Alexandra Morte and Baylie Arin, the two friends began working as a duo, recording their fuzzy debut EP, Heart Beat, for Georgia-based indie Graveface Records.
