Nimbus Sextet

A modern jazz group from Glasgow, Nimbus Sextet have skillfully drawn from styles ranging from groove-oriented '70s fusion to Bulgarian folk music. After a couple short-form releases, they issued their debut album, Dreams Fulfilled, in 2020. Leader and keyboardist Joe Nichols planted the seeds for the group with Edinburgh University classmates Alex Palmer on drums and Mischa Stevens on bass.
