Nina Walsh is active in many facets of dance and alternative music, as a producer, singer/songwriter, engineer, and label owner. A longtime associate of Andrew Weatherall, she co-ran the Sabres of Paradise and Sabrettes labels during the 1990s, while making breakbeat techno with Lol Hammond (Drum Club) as the duo Slab. She also worked with the Orb and Primal Scream, and founded the mysterious C-Pij label, releasing an experimental album as Obscura in 2001.
