Dance music combo Ocean Drive was born in 2008 when two French music producers -- Nicolas Carel, who specializes in electronic pop, and Just Uman, who has a background in dance music -- happened to meet at a nightclub in Miami, FL. Carel and Uman decided to collaborate on a recording project, and invited two talented associates into the studio with them -- vocalist Gilles Luka, formerly a member of the group Luka, and DJ Oriska, a club DJ known for spinning house and electro grooves.
