With a strong Russian streak in his playing, cellist Pablo Ferrández has performed with top orchestras around his native Spain and beyond. He was signed to the Sony Classical label and released his first album there in 2021.
Ferrández was born in Madrid on March 19, 1991. His family was musical, and he was named after the great cellist Pablo Casals. When he was 13, Ferrández entered Madrid's Reina Sofia School of Music.
