U.K. alt-pop band Pale Waves have a sound that can be dreamy and drifting or charged and anthemic. The group counts 1980s and '90s bands such as Cocteau Twins, the Blue Nile, and the Cranberries among their inspirations but also calls on the influence of 2000's radio pop melodicism in their later work.
