Peadar O Riada

The son of influential Irish musician, composer, choirmaster, and bandleader, Sean Ó Riada, Peadar Ó Riada has continued to follow in his father's footsteps. While his roots remain in the musical traditions of Ireland, Ó Riada has incorporated classical, Eastern, and European avant-garde influences. In addition to recording as a soloist, Ó Riada has directed the Chor Cuil Aodha since his father's death in 1971.
