Biography
French ska-funk collective Percubaba formed on the campus of Saint-Malo's Lycee Maupertuis in 1997. Two rival groups merged together to create the sprawling 11-member lineup, which included vocalists Dup, Gaston, and Bidou, guitarist Julien "Youl" Richter, bassist Arnaud "La Fauve" Fauvel, keyboardist Nicolas Meheust, saxophonist David "Vidda" Bonomi, trumpeter Jérôme "Mr. Lul" Paitry, trombonists Rudy Loos and Ronan Simon, and percussionists Dan "Danesh" Voisin and Joël "Jo-Hell" Daventry.
