Biography
Phantomsmasher is one of the many projects from experimental noise-maker James Plotkin. After appearing on over 80 releases under names such as OLD, Solarus, and Atomsmasher, Plotkin signed on with Mike Patton's Ipecac Recordings. Continuing where he left off with Atomsmasher, Phantomsmasher combines grindcore with digital hardcore and experimental noise. The first release under this name was released in summer 2002 and features contributions from Speedranch and Dave Witte. ~ Kenyon Hopkin
