Inimitable guitarist Phil Miller was a longtime fixture in British progressive music, beginning in 1966 when, at only 17 years of age, he was a founding member of the band Delivery, whose varying lineups would also include British progressive mainstays such as drummer Pip Pyle, saxophonist Lol Coxhill, bassist Roy Babbington, and pianist Steve Miller (Phil's brother). His first compositions can be heard on the 1970 Delivery album Fools Meeting (featuring vocalist Carol Grimes).
