Making his name first as bassist/vocalist in the noise pop group Carnivores, then holding down a similar position in the well-loved post-punk revival duo Omni, Philip Frobos had a solid career going as a maker of brainy, hooky music when he broke out solo with 2021's Vague Enough to Satisfy.
