Pinkish Black

Borrowing from post-rock, doom metal, synthwave, industrial, and psychedelic influences, Pinkish Black are a Fort Worth, Texas-based experimental rock duo featuring former members of the Great Tyrant. Formed in 2010 by vocalist and keyboardist Daron Beck and drummer and keyboardist Jon Teague after the death of bassist and Great Tyrant bandmate Tommy Atkins, the newly minted Pinkish Black -- the name refers to the viscera left behind on the wall of the bathroom where Atkins ended his life -- released their harrowing eponymous debut album in 2012 via Handmade Birds.
