Brighton, England, jangle pop band the Popguns were formed in 1988 by vocalist Wendy Pickles, guitarists Simon Pickles (the group's primary songwriter) and Greg Dixon, and bassist Pat Walkington before adding former Wedding Present drummer Shaun Charman.
