Hailing from France, PPJ's infective, sunshine-drenched electronica draws on the sounds of European house, Latin pop, and outsider electronics, as heard on the 2020 debut EP Primavera. Formed in 2020, PPJ (aka Páula, Povoa, and Jerge) came together after Páula returned from her native Brazil just as COVID-19 hit. Teaming up with Povoa (aka producer Jules Rosset) and Christine & the Queens live member Jerge, the trio holed themselves up in Normandy and started to write material that drew influence from Páula's native Brazil and the rich history of French house.
